I’m thrilled to share an exciting new update we’ve just released for CP Sermons! This latest addition brings a highly anticipated feature to our plugin: SermonAudio integration, now available in beta!

What’s New?

The new integration allows you to seamlessly connect your SermonAudio account with CP Sermons. This means you can now automatically import messages added through Sermon Audio directly into your church’s website. It’s a game-changer for managing sermon content efficiently!

Getting Started with the Beta Update

To access this feature, ensure you have beta updates enabled in your CP Sermons plugin. Here’s a quick guide:

  1. Enable Beta Updates: Go to your license tab and click the ‘Enable Beta Updates’ option.
  2. Update to Version 1.4.0 Beta 1: This version unveils the ‘Enable Sermon Audio Integration’ option in the advanced tab.
  3. Configure Sermon Audio Integration: Add your broadcaster ID and specify the start date for importing messages.
  4. Initiate Import: Start your initial import and watch as sermons are seamlessly integrated into your site.

What to Expect

This integration pulls both audio and video content (if available) and includes all relevant sermon details like series and speaker. It’s designed to ensure everything works smoothly and intuitively, right from your CP Sermons dashboard.

  1. So, I am working with a new pastor to link SA to his church. He has an archive of SA files and I wonder if it will pull in to the new church website neatly as linked files from his account and does he have to maintain the SA account after integration? We would like to pull those SA files and “not” maintain two accounts.

    1. Hi Bonnie! The SermonAudio integration does not import the actual audio file, but everything else is imported. It is possible to connect SermonAudio, run the import, then disconnect it. But if the audio files are removed from SermonAudio, then the imported sermons would no longer function. You could check with SermonAudio to see if the audio files are removed when an account expires.
