CP Sermons 1.4.0 is loaded with a number of new features and settings to help you manage your sermons and engage with your congregation.
Sermon Audio Integration
We teased this last month, but our brand new SermonAudio integration is now officially available as part of CP Sermons. Input your broadcaster ID and automatically pull sermon media and information directly into your website.
Sermon and Series Template Changes
We’ve added a couple of new template options for Sermons and Series. You can now choose between our default 2 column layout for single sermons, or use the new vertical layout for your sermons. This new layout is ideal for churches that include a lot of text in the sermon content.
For Series, you can specify the aspect ratio to use for the archive grid. This will enforce design consistency across your series graphics, even if they aren’t all exactly the same size.
Sermon Downloads
Now you can add downloadable files right to your sermon! If your church has notes, bulletins, or small group discussion questions, you can add these easily right to the sermon edit page. Each download can take a file URL as well as a custom label for maximum flexibility.
Other Changes
In addition to the above items, we’ve added a number of other minor changes to improve CP Sermons:
- Improved accessibility for the media player
- Improvements to the import and automatic migrations for Sermon Manager and Church Content plugin
- Security fix for a minor XSS vulnerability
